State of Place Chosen for Smart City Connect Startup Challenge!

I'm so excited to share that State of Place was selected as one of top 20 startups in Smart City Connect’s (SCC) Startup Challenge! Next week, we'll be doing a short but sweet 2-minute pitch as part of the SCC conference, on April 14th, from 12pm-12:40pm EST. But that's not all...! ;)

I'll also be speaking as part of a panel on Digital Equity, where I'll discuss why issues around digital comfort and access need to be framed as a spatial equity issue that's tied to more fundamental, systemic, and structural built environment disinvestments in vulnerable communities, and how data can help bridge not just the digital divide, but the spatial justice divide. That session is on April 13th, from 10am-10:45am EST.
